Why it matters: The UTC program helps universities advance research and technology that improves the safety, mobility and environmental impact of transportation infrastructure.

  • Carnegie Mellon University—Promoting safety
  • Clemson University—Reducing risk of cyber attacks
  • Prairie View A&M University—Enhancing and extending durability of transportation infrastructure
  • University of California, Davis—Preserving the environment
  • University of Texas Austin—Improving mobility of people and goods
